Rabobank Cycling team

The Rabobank team is a household name in international cycling and will be for many years to come. At the end of 2010 the sponsor contract with the bank was prolonged until 2016.

This great news crowned a successful season for the Dutch team, in which Denis Menchov grabbed Rabo's first Tour de France podium spot ever, Oscar Freire won several classics and Robert Gesink and Bauke Mollema showed impressive performances in the mountains.

In 2011 Rabobank will miss the experience of Menchov and Koos Moerenhout. However, they contracted good riders in replacement. Vice World Champion Matti Breschel will be the main rider in the classic races, with Lars Boom at his side. Spanish riders Luis Leon Sanchez and Carlos Barredo are to be expected in the stage races and Theo Bos, who has returned to his old team, is planned to be Rabo's sprinter in the Giro and the Vuelta.
