Vacansoleil DCM Pro Cycling team

Vacansoleil collected its biggest victory of 2010 when the season had already finished. The ambitious Dutch were awarded a ProTeam license and promoted to the highest level of international cycling.

In the line of the last two seasons, the Vacansoleil riders will start attacking on the first race day of 2011 and not give up until they have convinced everybody that they deserve to be a ProTeam. Attackers like Johnny Hoogerland and Riccardo Ricco will grab many tv minutes in the new season, now that they are allowed to compete in the biggest races.

In the classic races Bjorn Leukemans will join with Stijn Devolder, who hopes to put aside his disappointing season at Quick Step and shine again like in 2008 and 2009, when he won the Tour of Flanders. In the sprints, Vacansoleil counts on Borut Bozic and Romain Feillu.
