Body Mass Index (BMI)


Goal: calculate ideal weight

The BMI compares bodyweight with your body length. After filling out your current weight (in kilograms) and height (in centimetres), the computer calculates your BMI (kg/m2). This number gives you information if you are overweight, if you are below ideal weight or if you have an ideal weight.

 

Explanation on result BMI

< 18

Below ideal weight, try to increase your weight a little for better performance.

18 - 25

Normal. Ideal weight.

26 - 30

Slightly overweight. Try to lose weight by doing more exercises and eat low fat foods.

> 30

Overweight. You have to lose weight now! Get some exercise and talk to a nutritionist.
